$946 Million Spending Bill Approved by House and Senate

A supplemental spending bill will allocate 200$ million dollars for the revitalization of the Escanaba paper mill located in the upper peninsula of Michigan. Hence, reviving the economic status of the area and offering more job opportunities for its residents. The remaining funds will go to business incentives, community revitalization grants, housing tax credit programs, law enforcement training, and $25 million to prevent water shutoffs.
