Oakland deputy resigns after probe into deaths of mom, kids who froze to death

35-year-old Monica Cannady and her two children,9-year-old Kyle Milton & 3-year-old Malik Milton, died of hypothermia and were found in a vacant field in Pontiac on January 15. Reports claim that Cannady suffered from a mental health illness and believed that someone was trying to kill her and the police were also involved in the conspiracy. Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard's investigation revealed Cannady's activity timeline including her interaction contact with several deputies in the area. one of the deputies she mad. On Friday one of the deputies responded to a call to search the whole area for the mother and missing children. The search was incomplete as he and the deputy were later investigated for their performance. On January 30 the deputy resigned from his position while the case is still being investigated.
