Fort Custer Recreation Area campground to close for improvement projects

According to a post on the park's Facebook page by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, the closure will begin on September 11, 2023, and is expected to end on July 31, 2024. The park will replace the entire electrical system in the west loop of the campground (sites 1 through 110) and both restroom and shower buildings in the park during this time.
