Barrett Strong, Motown artist known for 'Money', dies at 81

Barret Strong was one of the singers to record a hit for the Motown records label. He is best known for his 1960s hit song "Money" which was covered and recreated by many artists such as The Beatles, All the Stars, Junior Walker, and others. Strong also composed and wrote several award-winning songs such as " I heard it through the grapevine" by Marvin Gaye and Grammy award-winning song "Papa Was a Rolling Stone". Strong was announced dead on January 29th, 2023, on Motown records' social media.
