70 families have moved out from shadow of Detroit bridge development

The Del-Rey House Swap Program was initially launched in 2017 to assist neighborhood families that were affected by the Gordie Howe International Bridge construction. On Monday, February 6, Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan and city housing joined the Barajas families as they officially became the 70th family to swap their home for a newly renovated Detroit Land Bank home. Several homes are still under construction and residents of Del-rey may still be eligible to apply for the program.
