Man, 81, dies in ice sailing crash on Pontiac Lake

On Sunday, February 5th, Dan Irwin, an 81-year-old Independence Township man dies in a fatal ice sailing crash on Pontiac Lake. Dan Irwin's 27-foot-long boat was found 100 yards from shore. Police are still investigating the cause of death. An autopsy is scheduled today, Monday, February, 6 to determine the manner of the death.
