Federal prosecutors have charged the operator of QYU, a supposed professional trading firm, with running a $100 million Ponzi scheme. Many investors were from the Detroit area, including one who invested over $1 million since 2019. Several people from southeast Michigan collectively invested tens of millions of dollars into QYU.
