State officials have identified the suspected gunman responsible for the mass shooting at Michigan State University as 43-year-old Anthony McRae. McRae had a history of mental health issues and was charged with multiple gun-related crimes in 2019. Officials discovered a note on McRae that indicated a threat to two public schools in a township where he had previously lived.
