No serious injuries in I-96 pileup that involved 150 vehicles

Michigan State Police has reported that 150 vehicles were involved in a massive pileup over the weekend on Interstate 96 in West Michigan. The accidents took place on a five-mile stretch of eastbound I-96, which spans from Grand River Avenue to Portland Road, situated in Ionia County. According to MSP, drivers experienced white-out conditions. Among the pileup, 86 cars sustained damage, while another 66 slid off the road. Thankfully, there were no serious injuries, and only 16 individuals were safely transported to the hospital, as tweeted by State Police.
