Nearly 80% of Michiganians will travel for this year, says AAA

A new survey shows that 79% of Michigan residents plan to travel this year, a significant increase from the 62% who planned to travel in 2022. Of those surveyed, 28% are planning a spring break vacation, up from 24% last year. According to AAA, this year is expected to be one of the busiest spring break travel seasons in years, with Americans feeling more confident about traveling again. Beach vacations, Hawaii, and cruising are the most popular choices for spring break trips, with Florida being the top domestic destination due to its beaches, theme parks, and cruise ports.
